29 Oct 2020 – Webinar: Education and Training in Forensic Science in South Africa

Whether you are interested in a career in Forensic Science; or considering additional training to increase your promotion opportunities; or looking for a new skill or a challenge, this presentation will cover the current offerings in formal and informal training opportunities in Forensic Science in South Africa. All post matric formal qualifications as well as non-degree training currently available will be presented, and its impact on career development will be discussed. In addition, Recognition of Prior Learning as an entry to further training will be explained, and the concept of continued educational in professional practise will be critically evaluated. Online training in the global community will be briefly discussed. This webinar should empower the participant to make informed decisions regarding further training in Forensic Sciences.
